'Dry Times'
When the 2008 Recession hit, it hit hard! Millions across the country and the world were affected. The money seemed to simply 'dry up', and prosperity was replaced with a financial drought.
Though we seem to be in 'recovery,' many economists aren't so sure. At best, they predict that times will never be the same as before '08. At worst, they say it will happen again...worse than before.
Sure, you can blame all the different financial and governmental entities, but in truth, the Almighty in Heaven is in control of all.
So, why did it happen?
“...Because of My House which lies in ruins, while each of you runs to his own house. Therefore the heavens above you have withheld the dew, and the earth has withheld its fruit. And I called for a drought on the land, and on the mountains, and on the grain, and on the new wine, and on the oil, and on whatever the ground brings forth, and on man, and on livestock, and on all the labour of the hands.” (Haggai 1:9-11)
Drought has been on the Land because the House of the Almighty has not been built. As long as His people continue to ignore His Dwelling Place, drought will be on the land - causing lack and hardship in our life.
Family of Messiah will build a Dwelling Place for the Name and the Esteem of the Almighty!
When the House of the Almighty is built - everything will change!
Instead of violence, divisiveness, & unrest - there will be peace!
Instead of ever-increasing rates of sickness & disease - there will be healing!
Instead of financial drought and poverty - there will be prosperity!
All these blessings from Above will come to those connected to His House of worship. When His House is established and the offerings are made daily, then peace, prosperity, and healing will flow to all the world.
